Baby girl will be here soon!
I was so excited when Miranda's sister reached out to me and asked me if I would photograph her family for a maternity session. I was high-school classmates with Miranda's husband, Sam, and although a little younger than us, I also went to school with Miranda. They have been together for 14 years and married for 10 years. Sam recently retired from the United States Navy and is in the reserves so that he can be home more with his family. Thank you for your service, Sam!
Miranda is due with baby girl #2 on June 21 so we are just a few weeks away from her arrival. Big sister Kinsley will be 2 in just a few short months, so I have no doubt that she is going to be in love with her new sister. Baby girl will also be welcomed by her furry sister, Dandy, who was thrilled to be outdoors after all of the rain we have been having lately here in Texas. I think she was more excited about photos than the rest of the family. Dandy is a trained duck hunting Labrador Retriever who never got too far from dad, Sam.
Miranda says her pregnancy has been pretty smooth other than the lower back pain. Been there sister! She has been craving sour patch kids and cereal and the best part has been being able to feel her baby girl kick. She is looking forward to moving into their new home as a family of 4 (plus Dandy of course).
Their session took place at their land where their new home is being build in Frost, Texas. There are a lot of new and exciting things coming their way and I was so glad to be a part of this precious milestone in their lives.
